Doing more pics

This is a very nice dime with way more luster than is showing here.
I'm using a dinolite with 4 kreg lights against a white reflective sheet with alum foil behind it.
This is the best I could get. Thoughts???

dump the dinolite, sheet and foil.
find a cheap used dslr and be done with it. you often get out what you put in, unless you have the best equip, brain, knowledge, resources etc. the rest of us do it the hard way. lol
best advice i can give.
i could literally show a primate how to take quality images en-masse with some basic setting and 2 lights.
move coin under lens, focus, press shutter release button (remote). transfer images via wire ir wireless. viola.
it is a shame how easy it is yet how hard it seems to get there to see just how easy it is (5% of coins exempt for various reason). life is like that in a lot of ways.
if i had a dozen of you on this board in a room, you'd be disgusted and simultaneously pleased how easy it is. just gotta get it all set up, which don't take much.
a dslr for coins, nearly turns into a point-n-shoot unless you are going for photographer of the year.
sometimes 1 light can show luster better. settings on a camera, wb, aperture, mode, iso all factor in on how certain aspects look. this is why you see certain patterns emerge on ebay for various images.
really only about 6. ironically, this is about the same number of settings to change to get such variances.
software can tweek the bugs out until you get better. photo gallery as part of ms silverlight is fantastic for free.

Thanks Lance, but dumping what I have and spending more money is not what I had in mind.
I guess this is just going to be the best I do.

It's a lot tougher than it looks to get colour, lustre and detail all in one pic.
i do appreciate you trying to make what you have work.
at the end of the day, f3 cannot do what f1 cars can.
i will say that your images are nice for what you are using.
can you take a picture of the setup.
getting that hue from a digi-scope from what ive seen, is pretty rare.
if you can see what your image will look like before imaging, try 2 lights as advised. height/angle is crucial.
hold em in your hand and move em around to see what angles heights give you what look.
will you send me an image directly from your equip? unedited in any way.
your post-processing and presentation are pretty good.
you're almost there.

That's better pics than I have been able to get w/dinolite:
Seems I always have some blur.
1947-P & D; 1948-D; 1949-P & S; 1950-D & S; and 1952-S.
Any help locating any of these OBW rolls would be gratefully appreciated!
