"Ounce of Space" Walking Liberty

In regards to the "U.S. mint" I am finding with many of these advertisements, are they referring to U.S. denomination? The "$1" bit or are these minted by the U.S. government. Thus far I have failed to find them on the U.S. Mint website.

They are generic American Silver Eagles struck at the US Mint and then altered by a company with an Italian website and offered back into the market. This is really no different than those enameled American Silver Eagles that we see offered all over the place by private "mints" and other private sellers.

While I would not be surprised if that is a true meteorite, I find it hard to believe that that is a Martian meteorite. At an ABSOLUTE minimum you are looking at roughly $200 a gram for a Martian meteorite, and much more likely somewhere north of $300 a gram. A regular garden variety (non-Martian) meteorite can be had for MUCH less a gram.
