no it is not a doubled die reverse,
(there are actually two different ddr's on the 1917-p.)
there is doubling evident on both the date and the initial F.

Do not know why the carbon spots show up on some coins but
they sure do. Not to bad here though.

Love the wire edge. I've seen several 1917-P Buffalo's that have crazy strikes like these.

50% wire rim on both sides. Interesting die crack through the "L" in LIBERTY. Looks proof-like.

to roadrunner, yes, appears to be a matte proof (-like)

also note the railroad rims on reverse of the right side of the coin --
and the railroad rims on the obverse on the left side of the coin.
