Timing is everything. When I became a PCGS member, I had my GSA Morgans graded with my submission of 10. They cracked out the coins, graded them, and put them in their plastic with a notation that they were from the GSA hoard. I was just getting back into collecting and didn't know that the original GSA holders added to the value of the coins. I later found out that ATS they had a service to grade them in the original holders, with an affixed band around the bottom with the grade, etc. I was not aware that PCGS has new holders or uses the original GSA holders. Does the fact that PCGS put the notation on my GSA Morgans increase their value?

I actually had 4 of them sitting right on my desk. It took me longer to find the ruler.

In honor of the memory of Cpl. Michael E. Thompson
It's exactly 3 7/8" X 6".

Just curious - How thick are they?

I guess that would matter! LOL.
Exactly 11/16" including the edge that sticks out on the front and back.

Buy the coin...not the holder does not apply here. Buy the coin AND the holder.
