I like it. Hard to find that coin raw

Nice photography. This coin might be just a bit too dark for my taste, but that's just me. It has a nice, lightly circulated look with nothing terribly distracting and nice detail.

I like that coin a lot. Original surfaces, attractive toning and good surface preservation; a nice lower AU example in my opinion.

I like the old album tone and color. I think the PCGS grade would be AU50 or so.

I can see 55 but I think the coin will get punished for the fields in the flat areas of the fields a little they show old disturbances. My opinion is the coin has had a very old non destructive cleaning. Totally market acceptable.

Great coin and really above average eye appeal and strike quality imo.

Not much more to add. A few hairlines but a very attractive coin.

    I like it.

Thanks everybody for the comments; this is my first seated half so I am glad that there were no glaring problems that I overlooked.

    I like it!
I have no opinion on the grade, I just like her as a nice raw SLH.
  • I need to ask... how does all that color occur?

    Nice pickup!

I'd welcome that one in my set, nice pickup!

Oops - meant to put a grade guess, AU-55 to me.

    Nice Seated Half.

Very lightly circulated----I'll say AU 55.

The toning looks OK to me and I don't find it to be too dark.

That is an impressive pickup for a raw coin..... Cheers, RickO

Nice coin. Very colorful toning. Only flaws are minor (rim bump, a few hairlines) and to be expected for the grade. AU53-55 is my guess as to the grade.

Is it a rim bump or a cud?

    Very nice original color 55+

It looks to me like this pretty baby spent some years in a Wayte Raymond album.

Need the following OBW rolls to complete my 46-64 Roosevelt roll set:
    1947-P & D; 1948-D; 1949-P & S; 1950-D & S; and 1952-S.
Any help locating any of these OBW rolls would be gratefully appreciated!

I love the coin. Great pickup. My only concern might be the greenish color at 7 o'clock on the obverse. If verdigris, this could be a major problem. Hope not.

Thank you! The spots on the obverse are just bluish-green toning spots.

Like it quite a bit, and I would concur with AU55.
