Looking for Some Comments about this Seated Liberty Dime

Looking for some comments about this dime, I believe it is a late die state of F-110B. It does have some funky looking surfaces and I am not sure if it is authentic. The weight is good, I just can't get past the surfaces.

    Looks like is was in a fire at one point

    Authentic, but fire damaged?

    Cool terminal die state of F110b; you can see the crack at the cap has become a cud.
    I think Gerry would want the photo on his site if you haven't sent it to him already.

    Cool variety and very late die state. Looks like the die crack thru the stars turned into a huge cud.

    This die is in much worse shape than the plate coin on Gerry's site. Maybe this is a 110c.

    I've never seen a coin after a fire, but silver melts at about 1700 degrees F.

    It could be fire damage... I would lean more towards a brief period in salt water or corrosive

    dirt... (i.e. acidic soil or upper beach sand).. Cheers, RickO
