    Nice results.

Question: What was your motivation to submit the sub-$100 coins to CAC? Not being obstinate because I've done it myself in the past!

I've yet to see even in this market where solid quality No Motto Seated type will trade for anywhere near CDN bid. The current spread for the 1858 quarter is:

XF40=$60, AU50=$150. This XF45/CAC has an extraordinary natural halo of blue toning around Liberty. It should easily bring a price closer to the AU50 bid if I place it in the market.

The 1879-S Morgan is housed in an OGH, is semi-PL and has full obverse "band" toning coverage that I have shown here before. I paid $500 for it at least 5 years ago, and it won't be leaving my hands any time soon. image I'll post new images of both when they arrive.

Nice results. Do you have any thoughts about why the Isabella didn't sticker? What were the qualities that you liked in it?

This coin appears to match up very well to another very similarly toned MS64/CAC that Heritage sold in January. The coin I submitted could pass as a twin to the above linked coin. I hope that JA might have pinned a note on this one to explain the deficiency. If not, a call to CAC may be in order. I don't know how the grading at CAC gets assigned among staff, or if they use a consensus method, but I have to believe that JA doesn't finalize every review, in which case the subjectivity should be open for reconsideration just the same as it is with the tier 1 TPG's.
