Jefferson Nickel experts opinion's wanted..

I just picked this 1943-D Jefferson Nickel up today. I bought it because I liked the color and the price was right. After examining it, I discovered a die crack running from Jefferson's ear out across his cheek and out through the tip of his nose into the field. He also has a cracked skull as well. But the crack running right across his cheek is what really got my attention.
I know there are "Scarface" coins for the Morgan Dollar and Franklin Half. What do you think about this one? Is it worth investigating and possibly sending it in for a possible new discovery?

Not sure where you would sent this in for " a possible new discovery". I'm not aware of anyone keeping track of minor die cracks on types like the Jefferson nickel series.
Fantastic photos, by the way!
I've found long, thin die cracks to be relatively common on the reverse dies. Can't say I've seen too many on the obverse.

.
I like the look and it represents days of passed.
I have no idea if yours is special or not. But, it is cool.
If we were all the same, the world would be an incredibly boring place.

to me not worth the extra $$$ to have that put on the label
morgans for whatever it's worth have many noted minor if not minuscule variations noted/named
that simply never will apply to other series
But on a Jefferson nickel, it simply is what it is.
