Completed my Shield Nickel Everyman set

Four years, almost to the day, to add coin 17 after coin 16.
The 1880, in PR58 (much, much less of a strain on the wallet than even a good 4). Even submitted in raw instead of buying one already graded.
Now to upgrade some of the other coins.

I can't. That is the problem with using a proof in the everyman set. It does not work in any of the others, so they remain one coin short.

The '79 and '81 are nice coins, and tough to find too.
I sold this one to forum member/dealer a few years back - it would have fit in nicely:
Completing a set (almost any set for that matter) is a huge accomplishment!!
Kudos to you!
Sometimes, it’s better to be LUCKY than good. 🍀 🍺👍

Here's a warning parable for coin collectors...
Wonderful. Such satisfaction, right? Congratulations!
Yes, especially since I submitted the coin raw. My dealer told me it would 58 and he was correct. I was afraid it would be a 61 or 62 and then not work for the set.
Congrats!
