Numismatic Seminars Inc.

I recently purchased a coin that came with an old PNG certification slip as verification of a sale from Ron Gillio to some company called Numismatic Seminars, Inc.
Does anyone know what these guys were or did?

Thanks

I wonder, is Genuineness a synonym for Authenticity ?

What about the coin?
Is it holdered or in some kind of flip?
60/63 is a funky grade. Do you agree with it?

Ron Gillio is still around, if you want to test his memory. I doubt that the enterprise he sold to is though.
...isn't he on the board of experts over at PCGS? Neat coin and cert

Thanks! The coin is a 62, with a 63 reverse, and it came in a small old screw-type 1.5x1.5 plastic holder
Still looking for info on Numismatic Seminars, Inc

Now researching NSI comes up a little incestuous...

ANA 50 year/Life Member (now "Emeritus")

the word, "adjectival" in the legalese, LOL

My favorite term of art in this context is "puffery." FWIW, I didn't see much, if any, improper "adjectival" descriptions in the cert. The disclaimer is, of course, seeking to disclaim a warranty as to grade "Mint State 60/63" and the other language in the cert. bolsters that disclaimer.

Is it actually a piece of history to keep? Honestly, I was planning to tuck the certification away in some forlorn corner of my room, to be forgotten forever
