Thank you LasVegasTeddy for this monster Proof Lincoln gift!

Las Vegas Teddy has one the best sets of eyes in the hobby! Just tremendous eye appeal on this one. Thank you Teddy for hunting this monster down ... and the oh-so-generous gift!
PCGS graded this PR67RD. I personally think this probably should have graded RB instead of RD, as there is quite a bit of toning on this one.
However the good news is because it's classified as a RD and not a RB, it actually shows up in CoinFacts!! If this had graded RB, it would have been excluded from CoinFacts since CoinFacts has chosen to exclude all BN and RB Proof Lincolns minted between the years 1952 and 2012.
In any case, 1961 is THE DEFINITIVE YEAR for eye appeal on colorfully toned Proof Lincolns. For some reason 1961 has more of it's share of monsters.
Phil Arnold did a great job on the TrueView photo as well. Kudos all the way around!

thanks for the kind words here
to me this is one of those plucked too early from whatever environment it was in and it could of developed into a moose later in life
an infant moose is how i see these early stages of toning developing
"my eyes" coming from a master set of them
you do address a fine point though
coinfact's shouldn't be biased as alot of beautiful coins are perhaps witheld from the world maybe by a mis-judgement there
that many hold hope in the future we'll see a resolve over
happy you like this there ol winged one
it's pretty in it's own way....an infant moose
BTW ... Here are some monster BN and RB proof Lincolns from the year 1961 which are excluded from CoinFacts ...
It's so interesting how 1961 is such a great year for color. It actually shows up in the PCGS population reports as something I call "The 1961 Anomaly"
This population chart I worked up few years ago for Brown (BN) Proofs, the numbers are all a bit larger now.
For Red-Brown (RB) Proofs, the pops are larger than for BN Proofs ...
(once again these pops are from 3 years ago, the numbers are all larger now)
The spike in 1970 was due to the plastic insert being used in Proof Sets that year having more impurities in it that caused a lot of target toning in 1970 OGP Proof Sets.
It's interesting that "The 1961 Anomaly" still shows up in the Red-Brown (RB) population charts for 1961 (cello pack) Proofs minted that year.

no infant moose's there that you just added to this thread
as much as trueview's bring most of the beauty out for all to see
in hand adds another element that can't be captured or contained in a single still image
i can only imagine based on the few i have just how amazing yours are in hand
I'm not surprised in the least by WL's special gift from Teddy.
Here are three I have been rewarded with from this numismatic goodwill ambassador. There are more.

It's interesting but when I asked the PCGS brass (executives) about the possibility of including BN and RB Proof Lincolns in CoinFacts for that 60 year period between 1952 and 2012, I was told that "there is no market and no interest for BN and RB Proof Lincolns" ... but only for that 60 year period I am guessing. Somehow there is a market for them before 1952 and after 2013 (for some reason) since CoinFacts will show BN and RB Proof Lincolns dated before 1952 and after 2013.
In any case, 1961 is THE DEFINITIVE YEAR for eye appeal on colorfully toned Proof Lincolns. For some reason 1961 has more of it's share of monsters.

Outstanding! Looks as if it is a "High Relief" coin!
"Jesus died for you and for me, Thank you,Jesus"!!!
--- If it should happen I die and leave this world and you want to remember me. Please only remember my opening Sig Line.By the way, at this large resolution, am I seeing a bit of plastic debris over the T in CENT? Maybe left over when it was cracked out to photograph??
Still beautiful tho ... parts of the coin almost looks tipped in 24k gold ... like sections of the Lincoln Memorial steps.

Sir Teddy of the Las Vegas Realm is most certainly one of the GREAT MEMBERS that
participate on this forum! I too have been a benefactor of his generosity! Not only
has he surprised me with a few things but he has helped me greatly when he has allowed
me to pry things away from him. There are many wonderful people on this forum, including
the OP. Here are a few that have come from Vegas, one way or another.
