THARE PURTEE, JOLEEN, AN WURRA GONTER ORDER AS MINNY AS WE KIN!

According to the mint's web site the mintage will be 125,000 which is high for a gold coin. I'd be surprised if it sells out.

Yup, just step away folks, shield your eyes, let others do the heavy mintage limit lifting for you!

2001 Buffalo silver dollar, total mintage (unc/proof) 500,000. Current price $100+ in either finish.

Demand is robust for popular classic designs.

At 125,000 mintage for the 2016 Merc, I expect a quick sellout.

The presells are going for between $250-300. I would suspect the issue price might be in the $159.99-169.99 range.

Reverse looks to be LDS, from my view. But gold is forgiving.

A "1946" Winged Liberty head dime is something that is very possible at some point.

But that date is not one of the three fantasy-dates for this type that I'm about to release in a few days.

Dan its been more than a few days were are these coins ?

I think it would be a great idea, esp for those thinking this doesn't do justice to the original.

PCGS has separate coin numbers on these for coins w/ and w/o FB, so at least PCGS is optimistic that they will be grading some of these w/ FB.

I believe that one of the coin magazines has quoted the mint as saying that these are actual photographs of the coin.

Not saying this novelty item can't sell out, but what a bunch of phooey, a ridiculous mark up to the bullion, with a ridiculously high mintage. The mint has completely jumped the shark, not that they hadn't already. I guess the mint thinks they're PT Barnum. ;~
