Guess the grade 1940 Walking Liberty Half Posted at end with a new question

I put in 23 bids and didn't come close on most. The prices seemed strong.
I won two. This is an upgrade for my type set.

I don't think so. If this were in NGC plastic, I don't think it would even star. The contrasts are not very strong.

    PCGS PR66 ... no Cameo.

But it is probably CAC'd as that coin has really clean fields, and not much chatter...albeit not enough for a PCGS + or PCGS 67 designation.

These are my jam so I hate guessing off of pics as not to embarrass myself BUT if I were:

Strong Pcgs 66. Future plus candidate if not already.

    Weak NGC 67

NGC and PCGS grade gem plus walkers differently

PR64 Looks like hazing in the field over the sun?!?

Hard to tell from pics though.

I don't have the coin in hand yet so I can't attest to what it really looks like.

The 66 camp agrees with PCGS.
But it has a blue CAC sticker. I assume it's really green?
I've never seen a blue sticker. If it really is blue, what the heck does that mean?

    It's a hologram...color shifts as it's tilted....

    No worries.

Blue sticker means you blew it when you purchased it. No, like the guy above said it is just the hologram. Looks like a nice coin. I love proof Walkers.

It's green. It's just a byproduct of the lighting.
