What a great coin. Reminds me why I love Lincoln's so much.

Every time I see coins with concentric ring like toning pattern I think you guys would love to collect agates. Maybe some here do.

If you like toned Lincolns this is what you should be looking for. It has attractive colors and a very even, eye-appealing toning pattern.

I'm not crazy about this coin. The blue toning always makes me suspicious about its originality.

Wonderful 1913! Andy has amazing stuff.

Wow, is there a type of album that causes that toning pattern?

I really like that look on old lincs. Since full reds are probably out of my confort zone, these will do nicely.

These coins are usually more expensive than full reds! Out of curiosity, what does the 1913 grade?

Not everyone's taste but it's been my observation and experience that this particular hue of blue, the light robins egg blue when cobinef with emerald green is a lockdown sign of authenticity

Nice pick up. From the photos, I'd have figured it for a 66 or 67.

Thanks Roadrunner, way too muted for a 67 IMO, but 66RB seems pretty realistic. In hand there toned area has a slight haze when held at an angle, which is common for toned lincolns. That's what holds it back as there really no hits or carbon.

    "Rowdy" ??!??!??

Not sure that I've ever seen that adjective used with a coin.....

    I dig it.
