Which Factors Can Effect Detecting Depth?

Underground metal detector's detecting depth is relative with metal material, shape and detecting geology. Same design metal detector has totally different detecting depth on different geological environment. Because underground metal detectors are made according to geological features. If metals are buried into underground, as the longer the time of burial, the easier it is to explore. Because if the metal buried in the ground for a long time, it will gradually oxidize, spead rust around and react with the surrounding soil, which will generate a strong magnetic field, increase the area of the meta and also increase the strength of the signal. So it is easy to explore.
