    Good job.

The 1847 quarter is very nice looking from the truview.

Do you know why they said "no" to the green for it? Was it something about the coin they didn't like or was it that CAC would have liked it at a lesser grade? (I've had a coin or 2 that JA told me he liked, just 1 grade lower).

Interesting that a + grade didn't get the CAC sticker.

I am certain that nobody has coins sent in with the intention of "not making the grade" and the two that did not are no exception.

Great results. normally about half get the bean.

A coin with a + gets absolutely no more consideration because of it. I've learned that CAC normally is even more critical of these coins and expect them to not get beaned.

    Super batting average!

In my first and only attempt a couple of weeks ago, I went 4 for 6. I still think it should have been 5 for 6 (or even 5 for 5) because I really should not have even tried one of them.

At least I know I have a pretty good eye. Yours, is excellent!

No idea why the 1847 25C did not pass CAC. I think that it is a good looker myself! I may try again later on...someday.

Great job going 8 for 10.

The color/surfaces look a little out of the norm for a toned 1840's XF quarter. That's the only thing I can suggest that JA wasn't 100% sure of. And when in doubt...no sticker. Golden orange hues would suggest at least a dipping that started the toning process over again. Now the light blues are starting to fill in around the peripherals. It seems to have more than ample luster remaining for an XF45.

The comments around the '47 quarter are why I really appreciate JA....

In the past, when I have submitted under my own info, I have been able to converse with him on the few that didn't sticker. He would even comment on a few that did sticker if they really stuck out in his head.

Nice guy. Great to talk to. Very forthcoming I have found.
