Filled the last space in my Washington .25 Box of 20

I hadn't planned on getting a Washington Quarter at the Sunnyvale show today, but this one jumped out at me and it does anchor the set which is primarily PCGS 66, with a couple of lesser grades that had the right look. I'm into dirty pastel white with some random rim toning.
This one fits the pastel white part and is really gemmy in hand.
I was quoted before he looked at the grey sheet, and apparently there was a little bump in the price recently. If true, that's decent news considering the beating these have taken in the last few years. If not it was a good sales pitch!
Either way I walked out happy.

Congrats. Yep that's the one! I need that one too along with the 32D in 63/64 to complete my 63,64,65,66,67 run of 32-64 Silver Washies.

Cheers for the completion of your box of 20 Washingtons.

Congrats - Nice example of a tough date.....used to be a sleeper years ago, before slab populations, auction records, etc. became readily available.

The 1936-D is a great WQ issue and this particular specimen appears to have thick, original skin on it with a terrific look. I would be mighty happy to find an example like this, myself.

Congrats on your Purchase and I like the coin. The coin look's 64 or 65 to me.

I am trying to do all the Varieties first and taking it slower to fill in the tougher Dates.

It would be hard to just do a Box of twenty in this Series.

There is just to Many Nice Washington's to stop.

Any plan's to start the Next Box?

    Good Luck and Enjoy image

I really like the looks of that key gem. Congrats!!

    I always wanted to put together a 1932-D, 1932-S & 1936-D set.

    Do you have the 1932 D & S?

Thanks for looking and your kind words.
I put this series out of my mind for 30 years since I had fun with doing a BU Dansco of them in my youth, pre-slab era.
It's good to see more than anything that they still have many fans.
Variety and toner folks are hardcore but I'll bet just good Gem followers abound still. That'd be my thing.
I'll stop if I can with what I have- built on a whim and picked for my preference.
    No 32D&S, but a nice 34D, 35-36S, 36-37P & 39-40D. Then a slew of 40s dates.
The 36D, again, would be the king of my box.

Nothing wrong with that one, or your box of 20! So can we say the 36-D is the 1909-O of this series?

Good call.... But I could have gotten this in 66+ CAC for what my last XF 09o fetched. Those have gotten too pricey now and the good raw ones long gone.
AU '07s quarters are my new mini hoard.
