My meager finds. 73 half in change from the local Burger King. 45 cent in the "need a penny" tray, and a 62-D nickel on the ground.

Exceptionally difficult coin. I hunted pocket change from the mid sixties on and never found one.

My Dad taught junior high school when I was a kid. One day he brought home an AG 1831 dime as a present. Apparently some of the kids in class asked him about his family and he told them I collected coins. One of them brought the dime to class so Dad could give it to me. I never did find out who the kid was, because I would have like to thank him or her.

31's, 32's, and 33's are tough as nails to find.

I have been searching for 26 years through countless penny boxes, and had a job as a cashier for several years, and found just one 1931. I've never found a 1932 or 33.

    Great find !!

Very nice find. Me and my dad searched threw many bags of cents in the 1960's and while we did find some, there were not many 1931-1933 cents. We did manage to find at least one of each date and MM from 1931-1933, except the 1931-S.
