I never thought I would see a SLQ in a baseball card.

I was just reading some posts about baseball cards when I read one where someone said they pulled a babe ruth quarter and stamp card. Well I went to ebay and did a search and sure enough they do exist.

I'm not sure if I'd call that a baseball card - more of stamp and coin holder.

It does say "Topps" who knew?
The bitterness of "Poor Quality" is remembered long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

Nothing too new here. Topps baseball and Topps Heritage baseball have been using US coinage for years in these made up "cards". Lincoln cent,Buff/Jeff nickels,Roos. dimes,Wash. quarters, and Frank. half have all been included in the makeup of these cards. Don't recall any dollar coins as yet.

Pawn Stars was offered a card like this with a strand of Washington's hair and a cutout signature.
The guy selling it thought it was worth moon money and was offered a fraction of his asking price.

Not a knock-off as far as I can tell.

This is one of Topps promotions (RILE cards, Randomly Inserted Limited Edition) for 2016.

They're called the "World Series Coin and Stamp Cards". Very limited numbers, and the stamp/coin combo are authentic to the year of the World Series. They have them with cents, nickels, dimes and quarters.

So it's a real SLQ, but with an unknown condition.
