"Your PCGS Registry Sets and (insert company name) - A Perfect Match"

I assume I'm not the only one to get these emails. I find them depressing.
"There are 99 coins we found to upgrade your set(s)! But we can only show 50 of them in this email due to space limitations. Click here to see the complete list."
So, you're saying my registry sets suck? Is that it??

1) it would contain more upgrade choices,
2) encourage competition
3) benefit collectors.
As it is, it seems to limit registry building to limited dealer inventories.

If I have a Registry Set filled with $200-$400 coins, what is the possible advertising benefit to anyone in sending me a list with $700 to $30,000 coins, and the vast majority being over $1500?
I guess I should hang my head in shame.....

I lost interest in the Registry a decade ago, but when it started, I built a top 5 Gold Type Set to get it Pedigreed. For that set, I get emails listing coins that cost more than a house.
I also have a modern Native American Proof Set that I still maintain with all 70's and I still get emails about upgrades
I figure if I'm looking for a coin I'll be able to find it myself.

Always on the lookout myself.
I recently retired all but one of my Registry sets with PCGS. It was fun for a while to compete, but I don't have that kind of money to compete with the "Big Boys & Girls".

Yes, I receive them quite frequently and they are depressing...way over my budget. I wonder if I start my "Everyman" set they would send me info AU58 graded coin sales?
No they won't. I just finished my lowball CC Morgan set (except for downgrading now) and I get those "we found" emails. Always MS64,5,6 & 7's. Nothing like what I am collecting, just the exact opposite.

Yeah, I already know that other people have more money than I do
