    Thanks Rob! I think the aerial 3-D cityview was ahead of its time given the year. In my 20 years of collecting, I have only send in 2 coins for regrades. One was a 1/2 taler that graded details but I was convinced was ok. This is the second. I originally picked it up in an AU-58 holder and it bumped up to a MS-61 holder. I think the planchet flaws at 12:00 on obverse hold it back. Really a stunning piece in hand.

    Bump +1. While these medallic Talers are not forum collector mainstream, in my opinion they are spectacular. Engraving doesn't get any better.
