Looks like a 1925-S in the first post. It has that rough ridge inside the reverse rim, most visible on the left, seen on some mid 1920's branch mints.

Agreed. That was my first thought for $.20. out of the junk jar. Oh well. 5 of those vs. a lotto ticket.
Here is a 1925-S on Heritage that has a similar looking reverse if you click the magnified pics. It's just a touch nicer than yours and also has that clash mark going on near E PLURIBUS UNUM.
Yours looks like a stronger clash, so it might become worth a fortune when everyone is collecting them by die states of die varieties when such a book is published in 200 years.
