Jordan had one pack-issued rookie, no jerseys or autographs. Curry has multiple companies with base, jerseys, patches and autographs. I think base card popularity comes from people not affording the better stuff so they chase base instead.

Also seems half his 2009 cards show him in a Davidson uni...I'm particular to the GSW cards/stickers. And, unless I pull the card myself, I'm not a collector of jersey, patch or autos. That limits my field pretty well.
52-90 All Sports, Mostly Topps, Mostly HOF, and some assorted wax.

But, Jordan had Star. And, unless you've been hiding beneath a rock, you know the story behind all the various issues, their counterfeits, reprints, etc.

Not to suggest anything unsavory here, but with limited supply on Curry, how long before we're discussing you-know-what?

I think people recognize the Topps name more than Panini. I know I stopped buying basketball cards once Topps and UD lost their license.
Wish I could find where I put my Topps rookie cards. Must have a couple Curry's if I can find them. No Currys from the 1/2 case of UD hobby that I opened.
  • I found a couple in my monester boxes along with a bowman 48' blue. I put them on ebay a couple days ago. Stephen is having one of the best seasons ever. I'm just not sure he will be able to out perform what hes doing this season again. This is why I listed those few rookies i found on ebay. Ive been is this hobby for 28 years and have seen the hype before. Im sure many of you older collectors have seen it before as well. Heck, i remember Lebrons rookie year, everyone saying he'll be the best of all time.

Honestly, if they get knocked out of the playoffs ( spurs? ) the prices will drop A LOT. If they win it all, I'm not sure how much further these Topps cards can go? This just reminds me of so many hyped players cards soaring and then dropping off the face of the earth( not saying he'll do that at all). This is his 7th year, with the past two years being his best. I just cant see him ever topping this years stats. Dont forget this kid has had ankle issues...just trying to be real gentlemen.

If he can continue tearing up the league for 5+ years, I will believe! Untill then, lets see them repeat first...

Geez, those topps base prices are insane!

How much does his /99 National Treasures rookie goes for?

To answer your question about the National Treasures card, PWCC just sold one for $14,600.

Wow, I didn't even know about the 1/1 super refractor. Has it been found yet?

Speculation is that the superfractor is locked up in a PC but this would be the time to show it off
