A few Irish Specimens from Atlas

I picked these up from a quick purchase after the Atlas Numismatics latest inventory posting. They came from the Birmingham Mint collection and were likely one of just a handful minted (or are unique perhaps). The specimen or presentation strikes are not noted in any of the reference guides. It joins the other I have from 1951 which is noted as being struck.

Very nice! Simple in design, but attractive.
Agreed. Unfortunately, the US (and many other countries) has too many requirements for coinage to have simple, well-designed coinage like this. Shame, because these designs are so effective.
