1909 VDB Circulated Proof?

My typical luck would dictate that I wont find a circulated proof for $20 in Cashmere Washington (ignore user name). Experts please chime in and maybe explain the sharp rims.

The rims should be just as sharp on the inside as the outside edge.

What do y’all think? I had a dealer say it’s a MLP
Just went to a local “Pawn Stars” with Rick And Chum. But they wouldn’t buy unless graded.
I have a couple.
I’m try to sell to pay for a trip to Vegas. To goto the coin show in December
Anyone know where I could sell some that are proofs but not graded proofs.
I’m going to get graded at the show.
Thoughts?
What do I think? I think the dealer was blowing smoke or did not exist.
What makes you believe they are MPLs? How did you acquire them? What did you pay? Look, everyone would like a magical winning Lotto ticket to fall into their laps, but it just isn't happening.

Early Lincolns have sharp rims off the early dies - I have a 1916 that has razor sharp rims and details but alas is not a proof - just an early die pair strike. There are die markers for a Proof 1909 VDB - look them up.
Remember Proof 1909 VDBs have a mintage of a little over 1100 so chances go down ...........
"When they can't find anything wrong with you, they create it!"
Wait a minute, you are trying to sell them to raise money for the trip to the coin show where you will get them graded?
Hmm.

Everybody just ignore this one.
He is on some diatribe about claiming he owns one?

Sell it to the dealer who said it was genuine. See what he will offer.
I'll bet he backs down.

Can’t see one diagnostic other than the centered dot between the D and B. But that appears on the MS VDB also. The N in UNITED also appears to be the wrong one, but the photos are too out of focus to really tell. Like the 1909-SVDB the correct N is the Shallow. Yours looks like it may be the Deep N.

not a matte prool
rims are somewhat rounded
not so on a genuine matte proof
a.k.a "The BUFFINATOR"
The above is actually the only diagnostic you'll need.
