metal detecting video

Hello Everyone, Do any of you guys watch the TV series 'Diggers" on Nat Geo? If you haven't check it out! Well my brother and I love to watch the show and love metal detecting so we decided to do a JR/ mini version (on YouTube) So yesterday I video taped, uploaded, edited, uploaded and enjoyed the 4 minute, or so, trailer to "Diggers Jr. Season 1"

My older brother, Kevin isn't in the video, but he will be in all of them for all of the seasons.

I'm hoping to be able to do at least 1 season but hopefully more (maybe 1 a year).

Check it out!

I was surprised to see that high powered rifle case come out of the ground.

You appear to be digging with a dandelion removal tool. You need to get yourself a better digging tool that will let you cut a plug with a hinge.

Get a plastic too so as not to damage whatever you did.

Also, you seem to sweep and walk much too fast...slow down and cover more ground.

    Sure is fun, 'eh???

    Good start to the videos.

I'm not. I dig cartridge casings like that all the time.

You're not the first I've seen to use a tool like that, but as others said, you might want to upgrade to something better.

Nice work, and good video. Keep it up!

You're getting back into the right era for those silver coins!
