AGE Value Question: Older better? 87'

Hi,
Got this 1987 1/4 AGE from the pawn shop for $311. When I look at those years pricing say at Apmex they are much higher. Of course they are BU, and mine is not.
Are the roman numbered ones a bit more valued.

    I don't agree with APMEX that older AGEs are worth more. A couple of the low mintage ones and MS 70 are the exceptions.

    Higher grades in the older AGEs are harder to come by.



    That's the difference.
