Holy Moly Batman!!!!

So it's obvious that I like Frank Black. I heard him play a song live once in a small bar in Athens, GA around 15 years ago. There was a song he played that was awesome and I could never find it on any of his albums. ....because it is not on any of his albums. I got to the point where I thought I was crazy and what I remembered must have never happened.

Well because of this silly game we've been playing, I randomly stumbled across the song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is a traditional gospel blues song that was first "Commercially" recorded in 1930. Frank was covering the 1960's version by Delta Blues musician Son House.

I am so pumped to have solved the mystery that has been a decade and a half weighing on my shoulders.
