1892 Barber Dime - Something is going on with the date (RPD)

I picked up this 1892 Barber Dime that has something (RPD) going on with the date.

Here is the close-up on the date. It sure looks like a match in a later die state; lower loop on the "8", inside the lower portion of the "9" and the base of the "2" share characteristics with the reference piece in the lower image.

I think what you are seeing in the lower loop of the eight is just toning that happened to occur in the "right place"......my guess is that yours is the normal version

Possibly late die state after rebasining, but look at the lower left point of the 2 relative to the notch between the denticles. Seems to be a little different.
