New ebay Branded Gold & Silver

So BPM is selling Perth/ebay gold bars and RCM/ebay silver bars.

For the silver...so 57% or 1709 bars sold. That means 2998 avail. Mary from BPM said 01 is not avail. So does that mean The 1st and last is held and only 3k were made? I hope so but doubt it.

Corrected link to the RCM/Ebay silver bar

Limit of 20, excellent price for the silver bar. BPM wants only .75 an ounce more for their box of 250 silver kangaroos. By the time I choose they'll probably both be gone.

Just bought 10 of the 10 oz silver bars (any excuse to buy silver LOL). The price is good but it's not a great price---JM Bullion has the regular RCM for a similar price. I expect these eBay bars will continue to be made to meet demand and will not carry any special premium in the future.

I wonder if I just got in under the wire or if I'll get an e-mail telling me that they can't fill my order. I did get an e-mail from eBay saying my order has been confirmed and an e-Mail from Pay Pal saying that it's been paid. Not sure if they mean anything.

Well it appears they increased the inventory. 3000+ sold and now it shows only 50% left. Was thinking that could be the case. In any event, it looks like these might be a yearly thing (based on the 16 privy mark) and low serial numbers for this series should have a small premium down the road.

I wonder if RCM will start to have other companies on their bars in the future. Like Johnson Matthey used to do. Would create collector value. I've read on a few other boards a few people think it's stupid and so on but I like the idea. More and more I see the silver market following the footsteps of the sports card market.

Nothing special. Just a low serial number.

Odds are they are not being shipped in order of S/N. Open a box, grab some bars and ship 'em.

I suspect it took a min. order of 10K to have them struck. Might see more pop up. 6010 is an odd number to stop the run. If seller does bring back more to ebay, he would be a fool not to raise the price.

very slow sales on the third go around with a higher price. Appears it wasn't the "special" logo that made them initially sell so quick, it was the original, lower price.

I received my RCM-EBAY bars today.

All had SN's in the high 6000 range.

I don't care, the price on the first offering was pretty good.

LIFO? I expect they were picked randomly for shipping and not in any particular order. I wonder if mint boxes of 500 were marked.

Received my bars today (3 separate orders) I bought 1, then ordered 2 more, then ordered 2 more (5 bars total)

They are all # in the mid 8k, but sequential...............thought that was odd??

My single bar is in mid 7000. Obviously the seller saved the low serial numbers to sell for more money, which the market seems to support. Perhaps we will see them show up on the telemarket shows on cable tv.

The ones offered on ebay were still a good deal. IF the concept really takes off, expect to see many similar offers.... not only from RCM but from other mints also, and expect to see more company themed ones. Hey PCGS... when are you going to offer yours???

IF the concept does not take off, then these will be a short lived series and perhaps price will reflect that.

Regardless, it was a decent price for a respected mint offering for silver.

Was really tempted to buy at the end of this run but passed. 7010 sold. Heard of numbers in the 9k range. Doubt they held 2k+ back so they should put another batch up imo.

I bought 10 when they first came out since the price was right for a 10 oz RCM bar at $154.50. Not quite the bargain that they were. You can find the regular a little cheaper elsewhere.

current price must be tied in with spot....now at $175.34, but he has no problems selling them. derryb was correct in his guess, that most likely 10k were produced and the seller is now piecemealing them off.

If he sells out he'll just order more from the RCM. And, yes, his eBay price fluctuates with the spot price.

JM Bullion is also selling the 10 oz Sunshine Minting silver bars for 0.99 per oz over spot on eBay which is also a very good deal especially if your Pay Pal account is tied to a credit card with a rebate. I like their bars because they have the "MintMark SI" feature that make these bars extremely difficult to counterfeit.
