smilin' like a goose

Got this PCGS AU53 just before the FUN show. Its formal name is VAM 7 Doubled Arrows, but many of us prefer "Smiling Goose." Scarce above XF and I have only seen one MS example ever.

i got a 96o pcgs xf40 v-19 for $50 today so i'm a smilin' too. my first one.



also a 91p v2b ms63 aoh but traded some coins to get it.



happy for the 88o crumbled rev in xf too.



sales were tough but buyin/tradin was ok.

Whoever came up with that lame moniker must be smokin' somethin' special. The tip of the olive branch looks more like a tropical lizard's head, or maybe even a serpent's head.

Cool variety, generally overlooked.

I cherried one of these way back when (1992 or so)

that was close to unc, 55/58ish.

Sold it raw in no time and probably left some $$$ on the table.

Wasn't the first time for that, and won't be the last I'm sure.
