    Nice example - I would call it VG 8.

    EAC grade Good - 6. Commercial Grade VG. It's actually quite nice for a well circulated coin.
    Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible.     I think it's a VG 10 kinda grade. The obverse rim goes weak but they weren't struck like American Eagles back then so some consideration is called for.

    Nice major die break may have played a role too.

    Research the die break?
