While silver is anti-microbial, I would not count on it to a large extent... unless you want to

Not sure, but once heard that there are trace amounts of gold in fingernails and toe nails. Refining them is toxic.

Ag is antimicrobial, I think that is where the practice of tossing coins in fountains came from.
