Is there a Mercury Dime specialist in the forum?

I picked up a few coins over the weekend and I may have stumbled across an unlisted DDO for the 1939-D 10C. The sellers images are not real clear, and the dime does have some tone to it.



Pick-up points are the Date, In God We Trust and Designers Initials.



I should have it "in hand" by the weekend...I hope.



What do you think?

    From those pics, I don't see anything that would cause me to believe that was a DDO.

    I hope I am wrong of course. Take close up photos when you get it in hand.

    Can't tell a thing from those pics- could be a DDO, but could be lighting or machine doubling... Let us know when it arrives- I hope it ends up being something good!

    NO it is just the lighting/pic/artifact.

    the close up would surely help. I think I see something going on with In God We Trust (top of letters) but really don't know if it is lighting or something else. Good Luck!

    What caught my attention is the first "T" in TRUST...the lower right side appears to have a "step" or "notch"...we'll see tomorrow or Saturday.

    Based on those pictures, no...... however, better shots with magnification might show something

    Agree....that does not have the appearance of machine doubling to my eye.
    It however could be lighting.
    Awaiting close ups obtained in hand.
