I agree with Ricko that the employees of the store most likely swoop in as soon as the customer leaves, and the only "finds" are when the store is busy and the employees forget.
The funny thing is that after I pulled the dime out of the tray, I kept waiting to be stopped, and felt somewhat like a shoplifter!
Maybe just my paranoia kicking in......
And another thing- Don't forget to look under and around the machine as well! You will find stuff that fell.
Yes!

Now that's not right! Probably because he/she wanted to check the machine before you did?

Please only remember my opening Sig Line.Instead of using CoinStar to dispose of my hoard of pocket change, I have been feeding gargantuan amounts of nickels, dimes, and quarters into the automated checkout at WalMart, backing up the line for miles and miles. I do it partially to avoid paying tax on my own money via CoinStar, but mostly I do it because I so enjoy the dirty looks from the girl who supervises the registers.
There were five quarters and three dimes.... all clad though.... dunno why they were kicked out,
but I beat everyone to them.... nice haul. Cheers, RickO
