What is a good way to spend $500 eBay bucks?

I had this thread titled "Talk me out of this 1807 $5 Drapped Bust" Cleaned ex-jewlry AU details
but it didn't take long.

There is nothing I really want (or need) on eBay but I have this $500 eBay bucks burning a hole in my pocket.

I'm looking for suggestions on something cool to buy.
Any suggestions on what to buy?

eBay gift cards don't expire from what I understand. This will give you time to plot your next move.

Christmas was over 2 weeks ago, so I'm not buying gifts right now.
I got most of the eBay bucks on 5x offers buying these gold coins since they aren't listed in the bullion category
With $100 off it is at spot.

I guess I can wait, or buy a PCGS modern gold commemorative at auction and turn around and sell it.
Then I could have $450 in cash after fees.

But as soon as I did that, something I'd want/need would show up image

I was going to suggest a gift card for somewhere you use, but I noticed many eBay gift cards sell at a premium ???

Yes. You can use it on anything (except gift cards I think).
You don't EARN eBay bucks when you buy bullion, but you can buy bullion with eBay bucks.

All I can say is that if you've earned $500 in eBay bucks, presumably from buying coins, that maybe you oughta step back and examine your buying habits?

I used to buy a lot of stuff on eBay but never ever got anything more that $25 or $30 eBay bucks in any quarter.

    As for your question?

Buy my 2013 Silver Eagle Set for $165. Then throw in the 1972 DDO Kennedy, the Kennedy Coin and Chronicles and the Johnson Coin and Chronicles. All are way cool and should put a nice repair in that $500 hole.

I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

If you want to get $500 in eBay bucks and want to buy gold, this is how to do it:

Wait for a 4x eBay bucks offer

Buy 1-5 of these 50 Peso Gold coins. Each has 1.2057 oz. of gold.

Today the NY Spot (Kitco) buy spot price closed at $1,094.80. The 50 Peso is $1,400 from APMEX. Divide 1400 / 1.2057 = 1161.15. Subtract $100 in eBay bucks and you are paying $1,061.15 per oz. which is $33.64 BELOW spot.

So if you buy $7,000 worth of gold, you get it for $6,500. Of course it fluctuates and you have to wait up to 3 months to get your $500 depending on when in the quarter you buy.

You can sell the gold or put it in the SDB and wait for the price to go up if you think that is where it is headed (I’m not so sure that is the case.)

I'll give a shout out to 2 sides, because these look kind of cool, but perhaps he knows my secret image
