I've been wanting one of these for a while now...

The Franklin half is not too shabby, either.

    Got it for $20 image

And yes, the slab is in MINT condition!

It was in an old collection with rattlers, etc.

Congrats! I've found that a LOT of dealers don't care if a coin is in a doily holder because they don't know they're collectible. I've cherrypicked several of them because of this.

Very true! That's how I managed this one, it was simply prices slightly above graysheet.

True comment about the doily holders. Many if not most dealers at the smaller local shows I do don't know or don't care.

For some strange reason, the only ones I've been able to snag gave also been Franklins.

With the exception of the ATS blacks, it seems the "valuable" collectible slabs are always shown off at a "great deal" pick up. Where are all the people overpaying for these?

Nice Franklin..... slabs do not interest me.... but to each his own...Cheers, RickO

I wish, cause I would get them! image
But sadly that was the only one... It came from an estate, a bunch of stuff that's been put away for years. It's a fresh find!
