Is Coin Facts still being updated?

I was revisiting some research and see the Seated Dime information is out of date and the later Gardner auction results are not reflected either.

As I have been off the boards for a while I was wondering if anyone knows if PCGS is still updating this?

I have submitted and received back several unimaged variety coins that were TrueViewed and they ususally are posted on the respective pages...not yet and it has been months. Ditto for recent (since Oct 15) auction results.



Is the time frame for lack up updates the same as when this forum was "updated"?

I think PCGS is updating "PCGS CoinFacts" in preference to the old "CoinFacts" which is no longer being updated. PCGS also hosts CoinFacts Wiki.


I'm not sure what's the best source for keeping this information up to date but there are a few options available these days.


Some recent high-level information from the Pogue sales have been added to Wikipedia but that's probably too general for the details we need as collectors.

CoinFacts would be meaningless without such.

I'm sure that it is still being updated. Question is why the lag if that is the case.

We do not update the old Coinfacts. We have several people who are constantly updating the new PCGS Coinfacts. If you see something to the contrary please PM me with the details.

I constantly use Coinfacts and acquire a tremendous amount information and knowledge from Coinfacts. Coinfacts is a fantastic reference material that I actual use almost everyday!
