I didn't see a January monthly pickup thread so figured I'd start one. Here's an addition to my HOF catcher collection I got in the mail today:

I'm just saying if I had to pay good money for a person's auto, I would want something more than an illegible scribble.
Where have you gone, Chas. Gehringer. One of the all time great autos.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Congrats, that's a big accomplishment!
Dan Rooney autograph - Very nice. Before you cut them, are the dates on the post cards significant? A lot of times the issue or PO stamp coincides with some event. Just something to think about before you proceed. Nice autos. Congrats. They'll present well.
Just saw this. The Dan is 2 days before the SB they lost to the Cowboys. I can't find anything significant for the Art beyond the subject of the stamps and it was the day the Beatles release Abbey Road.
Just finished the card;

On a side note, how do you find the redemption code on these? The box on the back won't scratch off. Thanks in advance.

Picked this up for $130 dlvd after a $20 eBay coupon. It is the 11x14 Topps jumbo card, signed and authenticated by MLB and The Nolan Ryan Foundation.
I really like the looks of that. Great pickup
I was not planning on posting anything but I got this similar item back earlier this month from my last sub

I opened (2) 1970 Topps Cello Baseball Packs and have more cards to submit to PSA but here are 3 back from the packs.

For the Rodgers card, rack up another Sasquatch sighting!! Topps slipped in a Sasquatch in the background!!

Does that second Bird/Magic card have a shot at a bump? Looks like a really strong 9.
Great cards Thunderdan! Congrats on the Elway bump.

Hard to say for sure. It's a really strong 9, though. Shout out to Jeff (cardcountry) on that one. It's a beautiful card.
Honestly, I thought the Marino was overall slightly stronger than the Elway, and the Elway bumps but not the Marino. Go figure.
