I feel a dream coming up tonight, almost like a Busby Buckley sequence.
had a coin dream last night. started out in some place like a war-torn Dresden vis-a-vis 3rd reich with a lot of fighting and long story short ended up in some catacombs with a hoard of coins, tokens, paper currency, other artifacts etc. with a couple other survivors. then i woke up from sleeping on my arm wrong and it was mega numb.
wish i could post some screenshots. lol
have had other more peaceful treasure hunts and i HIGHLY prefer those. this one was rough.
here is a link to a few movies with major coin references with synopsis.
To us now, it seems a very ironic time to sing that song at the height of the Great Depression.
But with all those movies from that decade, they all had a 'feel good' theme about them and they always ended on a happy, optimistic note, as for most of the moviegoers in the early 30's, had nothing but misery and disappointment for the whole week except for their Saturday afternoon at the movies.
It was definitely a 'happy' propaganda put out by Hollywood and the Government.
