Show me your gold!

I received this classic today for my St. Gaudens $20 Gold Date Set (1907-1932)

My Digital Album (...in progress.)

Goal: Pick better dates and mints when I can find them...all in PCGS MS63. I look for Saints with good color, minimum hits in the field, good strike, no carbon spots, no major distractions. I want the observer to think..."hmmm, that's good for the grade."

I began this Date Set in 2013. I refocused the Set in late 2015.

I added this 1910-D when I bought the HR pictured above. It's looks so flat now.

What level grade are you shooting for ? Some dates are difficult to get cac after a certain level

This $20 Liberty has been around the world. I found it raw in an antique store in Anchorage and had it graded at CU Paris while on a four day layover. I pitched in 7 euros for the anniversary label. What the heck, why not?

I was hoping for a 63 but I'm okay with it. Paid $1,325.

A great set idea and a fun looking challenge.
