    A week ago I talked to the Coinstar guy servicing the machine, he claimed silver coins all the time, a Roman coin was his strangest find. In the smaller markets, when time allows, he sorts the yield, finds silver passed through sorting all the time. He's well aware of the opportunity in his job. He has a 2014 Redbook.

    That's awesome. If someone had told me when I started collecting that there would be a machine in many supermarkets that would reject silver coins, wheaties, even Indian cents and buffalo nickels, and just leave them in a tray, I would have thought I was dreaming image

    Coinstar service guy said machine accepts more than it rejects, therefore, he searches the yield for value.

    It has been a long time since I found any silver in a Coinstar.

    None of my recent Coinstar finds have been silver... some West Indian quarters, zincolns,

    modern dimes and quarters..... for a long time I did not find anything, then, just early in

    December, I found coins four different times. last week, nothing. People must have been

    cashing in for Christmas funds... I wonder if I can get a job with Coinstar... hmmmmmm....

    Found 2 Silver Roosies recently.

    Also,someone left over $10.00 in Canadian nickels and dimes.



    Found $20.00 bill on the ground

    Found $10.00 bill on the ground

    Found another $20.00 bill on the ground

    Found 2 $1.00 Bills on the ground



    All bills found in a 1 month period



    Bought some lottery tickets.....No Luck...LOL
