What do I have here?

This 1941 "P" quarter shows significant doubling of the 4 in the date. There appears to be no doubling on the motto. Hopefully it's visible in this basic photo.

    Yes, I see nothing on the motto or the other numbers in the date with a 20 power glass. The 4 most definitely DOES NOT look shelf like.

    I see nothing based on the photo posted. Try using less magnification as you can spot die varieties with a 5x or 10x. Going 20x is like using a Hubble Space Telescope and you start seeing stuff on coins your really don't want to see.

    I have seen the variety multiple times. It is not a major variety. You can try to attribute it here. I believe it is actually RDV-001, where the 4 and 1 are repunched, with some minor doubling elsewhere (L-I in LIBERTY). I probably have 4-5 of them in hand presently, and have passed them over if not gem BU.
