Photo Vision.......

I sent in a few tokens to NGC to be graded and decided to get them imaged by NGC.
This was before I decided to get my own camera set up. I thought to post them here as they came out pretty nice.
We always see PCGS true views but NGC comes out pretty good. The only thing I don't care
for is the background color.......wish it was white.

Nice pieces!! Here's the Massachusetts Cent with a white background. Didn't take the time to do every pixel, but did this just to see what it would look like with a white background.

I'm rather stunned that they image the pieces with the prong inserts already around them!

I agree with TomB.... I would much prefer they photograph them prior to inserting in the holder.

The prongs detract from the overall quality of the picture, which, in itself, is very good. Cheers, RickO

Those prongs look awfully tacky in those "professional" images. Those prongs are another reason I don't keep my collection in ngc slabs. Yuck!

    Nice coins though.

I like prongs fried with tempura, or as scampi with some garlic and butter.

    For coins, not so much

PCGS did this one while in the NCG holder. I sent it in for crossover and they imaged it before it was graded. Since I put up a message about this one they have now pulled the image from coin fact, however, the image still remains. I prefer the photos of the raw coins without the prong obstructions.
