    With the strike being so sharp for a much thinner blank, it definitely had some help in its creation. I would not want to speculate any further

    just going by an image, but that error is puzzling to me.

    Isn't that only if it's only an off center error on a correct planchet? This both wrong planchet and off center image

    I submitted this Ike struck on a cent blank. It was in a collection of Ike of-metals that I bought, and had PCGS certify for me. It was featured on my website and mint error news as well. It was placed in a collection of Ike and other Dollar mint errors.

    Thank you Fred. I remember it was on display at the CONECA show in Anaheim in '73. Lot of tongues wagging over it.
