Another raw purchase, I think it is a beauty. Super frost and luster with nice original appearing surfaces. Feel free to offer your feedback and/or grade opinions.

I like it. Free of distractions/bad spots/hits etc. Congrats.

    Very nice!
Hard to estimate the grade from the photos, but it's a minimum AU58, if there is any rub. The luster band on the obverse appears unbroken, so it could be MS.
    Great pick up.

Sweet Walker. Weirdly (as I do with Morgan dollars) I like mine more circulated and "crusty" for some reason, but that's a really nice one.

Funny, when I saw the title of this thread, my careless eye thought it said "NEWP - Raw 1916-D 10c", and I thought, "wow, he bought a 1916-D Merc raw?" image

I'm not quite that brave yet, or rich.

The auction title did not denote it as a denver coin, so I was a little bummed when I got it and saw the D there, though the price I paid dictates that I should probably keep it.

Denver was thought to have extended die life in 1916 by setting them farther apart, those boys in Denver didn't turn out too many nice walkers over the entire series.
