1966 sms kennedy DDO which one is it?

newly arrived and a sure fit for my 65 to 67 toned sms set

when i was looking at it the doubled profile stood out bringing attention

to other area's too

i see there's several attributed by pcgs but i have to wonder

which one is it?

image

what's best route to have the correct label put in this?

can this be sent with a grading submission while still in the holder and pay grading & variety fee?

can it be sent with trueview and reholder submission and just note and pay the variety fee too?

I can't see your (tinypic) image with IE11, but I believe that it can be sent in to be reviewed for Variety Attribution and not be cracked out of the holder if it does not attribute.

I send in Varieties to have them attributed and TrueViewed a couple times a year. My last batch was 3 out of 4 ( I miss one every now and then). I like the TrueViews and look at them when my actual coins are "put away".

Send it in...along with some "buddies" to make it worthwhile.

I will take a look at it when I get to the house.

    Here is Kennedy Half Dollar Variety page recognized by NGC;

Kennedy Half Dollar Die Varieties (NGC)

...PCGS may attribute others or not recognize them at all.

If it is a "FS-" (cherrypicker) variety, then PCGS will attribute it.

NGC seems to attribute more than PCGS; VP (Variety Plus) and CONECA varieties usually don't get recognized by PCGS.

I think it is FS-106. (Tripled on IGWT)

    Cool coin.

You just have to send it in to PCGS in the slab for

the Variety Attribution fee, on its own form of course

or with other varieties...specify FS-106...and if PCGS

agrees with you, they will put it in a new slab with

that attribution on the label. You might as well pay

for the True View as well and go all out. image

    Really cool coin! Congrats.

Was this piece in an album? image

Not sure why my computer at work does not show tinypic (and a few others) images.
