FORVM Ancient Coins has an entire section of their boards devoted to what they call the "Notorious Fake Sellers List".
There should be a similar blacklist for longtime or unrepentant sellers of counterfeit US and World coins.
It would present some logistical problems and would have to have safeguards against false allegations built into it (as I believe the FORVM board has), but it would be a good thing, I believe.

So? Not all the counterfeits were of the laughable quality of the two shown above and none of the counterfeits (that I looked at) had any mark on them to denote they were not, indeed, authentic.

I'm just saying at least he is disclosing the fact by saying "reproduction coins", unlike the other yahoos that say 'genuine coin from my grandfathers collection' and we all know they're trying to rip off ignorant buyers.
Bottom line is both ways are wrong.

This guy is telling perspective buyers that is coins are fakes, but that's not saying that the next buyer won't try to sell them as the real thing. It is best that this stuff is taken off the market.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible.
