...that says stay away. I can't put my finger on it. Maybe a bad pic. I don't know. I'm on the hunt for one, though.

    I kind of like the look, but it's worth less than half the asking price. Even with the box included.

    If the coin lived in it's original packaging for decades would it really look like that? How do we know that specific coin came in that particular packaging?

    I like this kind of original much more. Only had to wait over 6 years to get it.

    Yes, ugly as all hell. Stay clear of that one.
    The bitterness of "Poor Quality" is remembered long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

    It appears very heavily oxidized to the point of being categorized as environmentally damaged.

    One of my all-time favorite commemorative designs, but that one has issues IMO. Yes, it may be original, but it definitely has no eye appeal. It kinda looks like it was washed in mercury. There are a lot more attractive ones out there and they come up fairly often. Here's mine :

    This collecting of coins that are only PRETTY must cease.

    "Interesting" is usually not a good word in a coin description.
    Collector and dealer in obsolete currency. Always buying all obsolete bank notes and scrip.

    Coins that were stored in the bank boxes of issue usually have dark grey toning around the devices like this and the coin posted earlier.
    The ebay coin has been in contact with a gas or chemical to give it that silvery look
