    Nice medal... have not seen that one before...



    this seems to be the prevailing opinion when seasoned collectors first see a specific medal or their first SC$. it is what grabbed me many years ago and why stuff like this interest me more than coins.



    at it's heart, date collecting is boring in comparison although I still tend to collect Type, but Exonumia rocks!!

    I believe that medal once resided in the inventory of Leonard Babin in Rochester, N.Y. I'd like to see it come back home. image
